Leap of faith!

Well, if you haven't heard Amy and I are no longer working for Fellowship Church. That's big news for this family but maybe not a surprise with everyone else...at least that's what we have found out. So many of our friends have been praying for us to leave there and find balance elsewhere. Not that they are upset with FC but they were upset with how we gave up our lives for the church and gave the left overs to our family. So, basically they were upset with us. We finally figured that out. So, we put our faith in God and took the plunge. We prayed for balance and for change that would bring us closer to Christ. It worked! We have achieved both with the move.

I've landed at a church in Frisco and Amy started Amy Holt Design. I'm figuring out how to run a full Children's Ministry and Amy is learning how to run a business. Great stuff. The kids have really responded well to the changes and through it all we have prayed more, given up more, relied on more, and trusted Him more than ever. We have been rewarded with our faith.

This is a new beginning for us. Praise God for new beginnings! Hopefully more blogs in the future.
